This Privacy Policy explains how Flowr (“the App”), developed by Daniel Cotugno-Cregin (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information when you use our Android application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

Flowr is designed with privacy as a core principle. The App does not collect, store, or transmit:

- Device identifiers or advertising IDs

How the App Works
Flowr is a MIDI controller application that generates musical data locally on your device. Here’s what happens with different types of data:
MIDI Data
When you interact with the App’s controls (petal wheel, chord buttons, XY pad), MIDI messages are generated and sent to:
- Connected USB MIDI devices — Hardware synthesizers, audio interfaces, or other MIDI equipment physically connected to your device
- Other apps on your device — Via Android’s virtual MIDI system, allowing Flowr to control synthesizer apps like FL Studio Mobile, Caustic, etc.
MIDI data never leaves your device or local network. It is not transmitted to any external servers.
Gyroscope Data
If you enable the gyroscope feature, the App reads motion sensor data to generate MIDI control messages. This sensor data is:
- Processed in real-time on your device
- Converted immediately to MIDI signals
- Never stored or logged
- Never transmitted off your device
Settings and Preferences
Your App settings (CC assignments, layout preferences, etc.) are stored locally on your device using standard Android preferences. These settings never leave your device.
Third-Party Services
Flowr does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App does not contain ads.
The App uses Google Fonts for typography, which are bundled with the App and do not require network requests.
External Links
The App contains links to external websites (getflowr.io, support pages). When you tap these links, you will leave the App and be subject to the privacy policies of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.
Children’s Privacy
Flowr does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected, the App is safe for users of all ages.
Data Security
Since Flowr does not collect or transmit personal data, there is no personal data at risk. Your settings are stored locally using Android’s secure storage mechanisms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
